TO JUICE OR SMOOTHIE

When prepared correctly, smoothies along with juices are nutrition powerhouses that can pump our bodies full of healthy fruits, minerals, vitamins and vegetables. Done wrong, they can pad that waistline with high excess sugar, artificial ingredients, fats and calories. 

Smoothies are useful tools that will help to lose or maintain a healthy weight while used as a meal replacement. They should never be added as an additional. Pack them with plenty of vegetables and fruits – and therefore antioxidants and you have your meal on the go and in hand. All you need is a blender or juicer, the right recipe for your goals and needs along with water!

Listed below I wanted to share with you my top smoothies over the years. There have been many recipes that taste like a slice of heaven. There have also been a few that we don't need to mention... FOOD IS FUEL after all.

Coffee Lover's Dream

Smoothie:

1 cup chilled coffee

1/2 cup nut milk

1/2 avocado

1 scoop peanut butter protein powder

1 tsp collagen

1 tsp maca powder

1 tsp flax seed oil

Add in blender and enjoy!

All About The Beet

 

Juice:

1-2 tsp beetroot or 1 full beet ( juiced )

1 full carrot ( juiced )

1 tbsp golden mylk 

1 tsp turmeric root powder

1 orange ( juiced ) 

1/2 cup coconut water

Add all ingredients in a blender to mix up.

Sip and Enjoy!

Ocean blue

 

Smoothie:

1 tsp spirulina ( from hawaii )

1 cup organic blueberries

1 cup coconut water

1/2 cup coconut milk

1 tsp chlorophyll

1 scoop vanilla protein (optional)

1/2 avocado ( for creamy consistency ) 

1 tsp egg whites

Blend together until creamy 

Top with dried blueberries, almond slices and coconut nibs.

Enjoy!
